I put the ECM update on my Ram 2 years ago and all I can say if you own a EcoDiesel and you have not put the tune on your Ram your missing alot of the things that is a real performance upgrade. I went though AEM deal with Ram and back to stock alot of the things GDE did with there Tune is no bull get the tune and injoy this pickup alot more then stock.

I opted for the GDE tune about a year and a half ago, and loved it. However, I want my $3k from FCA. So, I took my Ram to the dealer and had the AEM installed under the recall. You know, I had forgotten how terrible the stock settings were! My throttle was stiff and the response was a 2 second delay on take off. The stock settings are HORRIBLE compared to GDE's Hot Tune Update. Now, my truck is back to being quiet (AEM flash made the engine rattle like an old Caterpiller), responsive, and amazing fuel economy. I went for a 700 trip, and everaged 33.4 mpg. This update is awesome, just as the first gen tune was. You WON'T regret it!

Certainly well worth the $50!I got the Hot Tune a couple of years back with 11K miles and then later the Transmission Tune, now I am at 60K and I wished I had done the ECM update immediately after installing the Trans Tune. The truck runs smoothly with plenty of power.

Wow! Something finally worked as advertised. This is my second EcoDiesel and I wish I would have put this on the first one. More power better mileage absolute win win!!

I have had the Ecodiesel tune in my truck for over 10,000 miles now. About 6 months, it did everything they advertised. I got a little over 2 mpg+ under all conditions, I live in a mountainous area and the engine brake is a very good improvement, well worth the cost of the upgrade alone especially if you tow a trailer in the hills. It’s winter time now and the engine idle feature in cold temps is also a nice feature. It als did remove most of the lag from acceleration from a dead stop, the thrill of not knowing if you could get out of on coming traffic in time has been taken away. It’s the first thing I will do when I buy another Ecodiesel

After having the Tune Update done last week I have about 150 miles on it with some stop-and-go but mostly highway at 60-65 mph. Initial impression is crisper pedal response off idle and significantly improved fuel economy per the EVIC. I'll have to run several tank fills to confirm the mpg but so far the $50 appears to be well spent,
