In June 2018 I uploaded the Eco Tune on my Monaco Covina Motor Home -- 2008 Sprinter 3500 with 25,000 miles. Over the previous 8,000 miles, the best MPG I had been able to achieve was 15-15.3. After the tune, I noticed a significant increase in power and low end torque. From 19 June 2018 to 27 June 2018, I completed a 3500 mile road trip through WA,OR,UT,CO,ID and MT and the best MPG was 18.1 on a leg that included the Eisenhower Tunnel(11,000 ft above sea level) and Vail Pass(10,600 ft above sea level). Average speed was 60 MPH. Also achieved 17.8 MPG on a leg from Glenwood Springs, CO to Garden City, UT (Bear Lake). Average speed of 65 MPH. At speeds of 70 MPH and faster MPG dropped into the high 15's. So far, I'm very pleased with this upgrade and have averaged a 2 MPG increase in fuel economy and a significant increase in performance. Good engineering, GDE!

After a year of back and forth, I decided to purchase the Eco tune. I haven't been running it for very long, but I'm already glad I made the purchase. There is a marked difference in my 2008 Sprinter's throttle responsiveness and overall power output. My main motivation for the purchase was to ward off any EGR issues. The extra power is simply a bonus for me. And I'll start figuring up my mileage starting with this tank. I'm hopeful I'll see some improvements. I've also noticed the exhaust smell is less sweet and rich. I'm planning to pull off the EGR in a couple of months to check the soot build up. Given what I've experienced so far, I'm positive it'll have less soot built up than before the tune. GDE's customer service has been as snappy as my van's throttle responsiveness. I received the tool, downloaded my stock file, and emailed it off. Within 30 minutes I had the tuned file and was up and running! I'm happy with my purchase and happy to recommend the tune to other Sprinter owners.

2009 Navion on 2008 Sprinter Chassis. I've thought about this product for a number of years. But after very poor performance for a 3 liter turbo diesel, I decided to spend the $700. Wow, best investment I made in this vehicle! It now performs like its German counterpart, great pickup, lots of torque, transmission shifts better, and 2 mpg better fuel mileage!

The GDE tune for the 3.0 liter Sprinter unlocks a broader and very useful region of the torque curve. Much improved freeway merges, significantly better hill-climbing power without a downshift. We live at about 5,000 feet above sea level and our most frequent driving is at that elevation and above. The difference in power as a result of the tune is noticeable and improves driveability considerably. Highly recommended, as is GDE's customer service!

I have had this Tune installed on my '08 Itasca Navion for a couple of years now. It has been the best single item I can honestly say to have done to the rig. It provided noticeably more power and overall performance. I would highly recommend this mod to any Sprinter capable of using it.
